Meet me!

Hello!  My name is Lorie Lehr.   I am a Title, 6th grade science, and 6th, 7th, & 8th grade math teacher at Menno Public School.   I previously taught 5th grade at West Catholic Elementary in Fordyce, NE. for 2 years.  I then taught at Eden, Hamill, and Plainview rural schools in Winner, SD for five years.    I grew up in Menno and graduated from the University of South Dakota with a degree in Elementary Education.  I'm married to Kent & we have 4 sons.  I have 1 sister and brother.  I also have 2 nieces and 5 nephews!   I enjoy reading, swimming/boating, shopping, surfing the net, trying new recipes and watching movies.  Some things you may not know about me are that I was a Sunday School Supt. & deacon at Grace Lutheran Church and am the High School Student Council advisor.  I was a cheer coach for 3 years.   I received my master's degree in middle school math from Walden University in April, 2007.  I am a member of National Education Association, National Council of Teachers of Mathematics, and South Dakota Council of Teachers of Mathematics.  I'm proud to be teaching in the same school that I graduated from high school in 1987.  The faculty and students are great:)
